 Member personal information: Member information should be treated as private information not intended for distribution to persons outside of the Ace Homeschool Association in any form.   Any announcement distributed to the Ace members using the Yahoo Group and any use of personal information taken from the membership roster should be strictly relevant to homeschooling. 

 Advertising policy: Limited advertising is welcome; however, solicitation for personal businesses is not allowed.  Any unsolicited use of personal information or email addresses gained from either the membership roster or from the yahoo group list is strictly prohibited and may result in a termination of Ace membership.

 Email and Yahoo Group Use: 

No personal attacks will be tolerated and will result in the offender being removed from the list for one year.

Please feel free to post an introduction about yourself and your family.

Limited advertising of things strictly of relevance to the purpose of this list is welcome.  See Advertising policy above.

Please limit personal back and forth emails which might be enjoyable but which do not help the rest of us - people are encouraged to make friends and chat off list!  Some personal topics of interest and relevance to others are acceptable and meet the intent of this group! An example is "My 9 year old still doesn't read - help!” Many people will want to respond and learn from the dialogue.

All posts will are subject to the approval of the moderators.

 The moderator reserves the right to guide and facilitate yahoo group conversation.

She works hard to keep the conversation elevated and on topic and does notify people when the list seems to be drifting or getting too chatty. We want this list to keep focused and relevant - this is not a place for dumping or for chit chat. Please be cautious when choosing your wording and know that there may be times when your post won’t be accepted. It’s the moderator’s decision.
